VOID HAUS: Amplifying subcultural identities through disruptive editorial rhythms

( Branding, Identity, Visual Design, Art Direction, Editorial Design, Digital Presence )

Void Haus is a multi-format publication exploring the intersection of subculture, identity, and visual expression.

SHIO constructed the brand identity and visual system to function seamlessly across both printed matter and digital environments: shaping a world that celebrates the avant-garde.

The project required a rigorous editorial rhythm capable of bridging tactile and virtual space. SHIO led the design of the physical magazine, focusing on material weight and layout precision, while simultaneously engineering the digital experience to mirror that same atmospheric depth.

Every detail, from the logotype to the modular grid, was designed to feel disruptive yet elegant.

The visual language thrives in the tension between high-end editorial standards and the raw energy of the fringe. The system utilizes a bold, structural hierarchy to stand apart in a saturated landscape, ensuring a singular sensorial mood regardless of the medium.

Void Haus operates as a cultural vessel built to document the avant-garde. It reflects the SHIO commitment to crafting identities that are structural, editorial, and unapologetically bold: a design system built to hold weight in both the hand and on the screen.
