A brand identity, campaign direction, and digital world shaped for Aska — a Finland-based fashion brand that explores the space between disappearance and becoming.

Aska, Swedish for dust and ashes, draws on the tension between presence and absence. Each garment begins as pure geometry and resolves into sharp, weightless silhouettes — architecture for the body. This philosophy became the foundation for every creative decision.

SHIO led the brand identity, art direction, and digital design for the launch. The visual system is precise and elemental: clean typography, grainy textures, and a palette drawn from shadow, stone, and quiet air. Campaign imagery balances stillness and sudden movement, with light diffused as if through smoke — a visual language of quiet tension.

The website extends this world as an immersive editorial space, with slow fades, negative space, and subtle motion that invite the viewer to linger. Social guidelines and digital assets ensure the same sensorial mood across all touchpoints.

Aska is not trend-led. It is a study in form and transformation — a brand built to feel architectural, minimal, and quietly alive.

A brand identity, art direction, and sonic system shaped for ORE — a silverware and jewelry line grounded in memory, erosion, and elemental transformation.

ORE’s first collection centers on silver: not as luxury, but as material. Each piece is sculpted with intention — cast raw, irregular, and unapologetically heavy. These aren’t accessories or decoration; they are objects of presence — worn or held like personal relics.

SHIO led the brand identity, art direction, web design and sound design for the launch. The visual system embraces fragmentation — with a logotype that feels carved and cut, and imagery that balances weight, texture, and negative space. The brand language mirrors the process of casting and erosion — deliberate, tactile, and unpolished.

The sound compositions extend the world of ORE through metallic resonance and ambient tension, designed to deepen the atmosphere across both campaign and digital experiences.

An exploration of how human systems attempt to shape nature and memory through architecture and technology — and how those forms inevitably shift, fracture, and dissolve over time.

Using two symbolic elements — a fractured monument and a suspended natural remnant — the installation contrasts constructed form with organic presence.

The enduring with the ephemeral.
The recorded with the forgotten.

Rather than treating ruins as endpoints, the work asks:
Are the structures we build meant to last —
or simply to give the illusion of permanence?

A full-scope brand world for SENS — encompassing identity, packaging, art direction, web design, and campaign.

SENS is an incense and ritual tools brand shaped by slowness, tactility, and stillness. From the outset, we approached the project as a study in mood and materiality — building a visual and spatial language that felt sculptural, pared-back, and sensory.

The identity system centers around a delicate serif logotype paired with elemental typography, echoing the duality of softness and structure. The packaging was designed as an extension of the ritual: tactile, modular, and grounded in raw materials. Art direction focused on atmosphere — subtle tension, intimate framing, and visual quietude — while the web experience invites slow navigation and contemplative interaction.

SOMESHIIT

SHIO was commissioned to lead creative direction, art direction, and production for Taiwanese rapper Someshiit — a distinct voice known for cinematic lyrics and raw observations of city life.

This release called for a fragmented, emotionally driven visual language. We developed a multi-format system spanning motion, stills, and digital content — drawing from degraded media textures, AI-generated sequences, and rapid-cut editing techniques.

The result: a cohesive visual world that echoes the solitude, repetition, and beauty of urban memory — aligning the artist’s sonic identity with a strong, unconventional aesthetic presence.

BLOOP is a post-workout spray designed for bodies in motion — odour-neutralizing, hydrating, and fast-absorbing. A clean reset for the skin after sweat.

SHIO was commissioned to lead the complete branding for the launch — including brand identity, packaging design, motion language, and campaign art direction, visual design.

Inspired by the rhythm of exertion and release, the visual system pairs bold, kinetic typography with clean, minimal surfaces. Fluorescent contours and tactile photography evoke a charged intimacy — raw yet refined.

A brand identity and complete visual ecosystem shaped for PLINTH — a Zurich-based architectural materials brand offering a curated catalogue of stone and surface typologies for architects, interior designers, and makers.

PLINTH positions stone not as product, but as both language and foundation — a silent stage on which architecture speaks. Rooted in Swiss modernist clarity, the identity seamlessly merges rational structure with tactile expression, striking a balance between editorial precision and material presence.

SHIO led the strategic positioning, brand identity, printed matter, and digital direction for the launch. The system is built on architectural grids, restrained typography, and a palette of stone neutrals punctuated by blueprint blue. Numbering systems, index structures, and subtle editorial gestures give the brand the quiet authority of an archival reference.

Art direction focuses on tactility and scale, featuring raw stone surfaces, hands, and object installations photographed with quiet drama, establishing a visual language that feels both grounded and timeless. Signage and spatial applications extend the identity into real architectural contexts, while printed catalogues and material indexes give the system a physical, archival presence — bridging brand and object.

The digital experience continues in this world online. Web layouts borrow the rhythm of print — modular grids, typographic navigation, and tactile imagery — to create an interface that feels like an architectural journal rather than an e-commerce site. The result is a calm, precise, and atmospheric experience that allows the materials to speak for themselves.

Porous is a premium chocolate house based in Paris, built closer to fashion than food, closer to culture than confection. We were brought on to create a complete brand experience—spanning identity, packaging, campaign direction, and digital presence—that positions Porous as both product and philosophy.

From the beginning, our approach leaned into duality: fracture and fluidity, indulgence and restraint, confection and culture. The logotype and visual system were designed as a tension between elegance and disruption, with sharp lines meeting organic gestures. Packaging explores the materiality of chocolate itself—textures that melt, break, and linger.

The campaign direction carries this sensibility into imagery and editorial language, framing Porous less as a sweet and more as a statement. Digital design extends the same philosophy: a clean, atmospheric structure that invites immersion, balancing clarity with sensory depth.

Forma is a lifestyle shop and café based in Stockholm, offering a curated selection of home accessories, silverware, clothing, and daily essentials with a quietly bold point of view. As a creative studio, we were brought on to craft a complete brand experience—spanning identity, art direction, and digital presence—that mirrors the shop’s philosophy: design as a way of living.

From the start, our art direction leaned into contrast—elegance paired with rawness, simplicity layered with emotional depth. The brand identity centers around a handwritten logotype, balancing softness with unpredictability, while textured paint elements evoke a tactile, lived-in feel. A muted, earthy palette brings a sense of calm and clarity, inviting pause and presence.

Our approach was deeply collaborative and experimental. We designed the visual system to feel instinctive, unpolished in all the right ways—like notes scribbled in a well-loved journal. SHIO was brought on to shape the Spotify Canvas visuals for Taiwanese rapper @someshiitonthemic — an emerging voice known for his cinematic flow and raw, detail-laced storytelling.

For this track, we led creative direction, visual design, and production, crafting a layered, atmospheric piece that mirrors the solitude and disorientation of city life. AI-generated memory loops, handheld footage, and TouchDesigner post-processing were utilized to create a drifting, mood-rich visual — one that seamlessly integrates within the streaming experience.

For artists, it’s a way to extend narrative and deepen sonic identity.

For labels, it’s a visual system built for resonance — made to engage, loop, and linger.
