THE NETWORK

THE NETWORK

THE NETWORK

GGGGG is an immersive, transcontinental audiovisual performance executed in real time between Taiwan and Germany. A collaborative project between SHIO and Synthiola, the work uses 5G infrastructure to dissolve physical distance, pioneering a synchronized method of digital co-presentation. The narrative captures an adversarial dialogue between two parties engaged in a raw struggle for dominance over a shared performative space, reclaiming and subverting the techno optimistic discourse surrounding hyper connectivity.

THE COLLISION

THE COLLISION

THE COLLISION

The performance is a stark arena where minimalist and maximalist aesthetics deliberately collide. As two distinct artistic identities invade and occupy each other's digital environments, the underlying visual systems compete, fracture, and intertwine. The five Gs projected within the gallery space are actively deconstructed, a systemic glitch shifting the atmosphere from corporate technological optimism into a cold, conspiratorial critique of data ownership.

THE SIGNAL

THE SIGNAL

THE SIGNAL

Through this calculated digital friction, GGGGG explores the volatile right to speak in a hyper connected world. Abstract network latency made tangible. Two performers on opposite sides of the world, occupying the same room through light, sound, and latency. The audience standing between them, inside the signal. Raw subcultural audio experimentation and high concept new media art occupying the same room.
