NOMADIC SPACE VER. LASER is the second iteration of the Nomadic series, returning to the same stainless steel wire mesh sculptures but replacing ambient light with a precise laser control system. Where the original work revealed sectional lines through reflected light, this version slices through the volumetric void directly. Hot magenta against absolute black. The laser doesn't illuminate the sculptures so much as it dissects them.

The work operates as a site of sensory reconstruction. Multiple laser sources create a web of intersecting lines across the room, engaging with the implied planes of three-dimensional space and redefining what the eye understands as boundary or surface. Viewers navigate the darkness, moving through a room that has been redrawn entirely in light.
1000cm in length and width, 350cm in height. The laser lines extend beyond the sculptures into the space itself, turning the entire room into the work.
