THE FUME

THE FUME

THE FUME

The Fume is a cinematic manifestation of urban existence, created in collaboration with Taiwanese artist someshiit. SHIO led the creative direction, art direction, and music video production for this release, constructing a cohesive sonic visual system to house a narrative of city life, solitude, and raw observation.

THE SIGNAL

THE SIGNAL

THE SIGNAL

Degraded media textures, rapid cut editing, AI-generated sequences. The visual language is built from friction, between technology and memory, between the cinematic and the intimate.

Traditional Chinese characters treated as visual architecture rather than just text, filling frames and fragmenting across cuts. CRT noise and glitch aesthetics. Amber and teal colour temperatures shifting between moods. Custom typography that makes the language itself part of the system.

The solitude and repetition of the metropolitan experience translated into something you can see as clearly as you can hear it. The art direction doesn't illustrate the music. It inhabits the same world.

THE WORLD

THE WORLD

THE WORLD

The EP identity and video production codify the sonic output into a world that exists across all physical and digital touchpoints. The visual sequencing mirrors the lyrical content, ensuring the music is inhabited rather than merely heard. The fractured moment, made permanent.
